Program overview
The Hovatter & Henrietta Lacks After School Enrichment Program provides students the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities after school with instructors from their elementary school in addition to vendors from the local community.
Registration: Find the class(es) your child is interested in, add them to the cart and complete the registration process. Your student will be added to the roster as soon as you complete the registration, however, your credit card will not be charged until the minimum number of students have been met. K-2 graders will attend ASEP at Henrietta Lacks. 3-5 graders will attend ASEP at Hovatter.

After school dismissal: Students will go to the gym at the end of the school day for attendance. ASEP instructors will meet their classes in the gym and take them to the location in the school where the class will be held. Classroom teachers will have a list of students attending ASEP to direct them to the gym after the school day, but please remind your students about their ASEP class before leaving for school.
After ASEP dismissal: ASEP instructors will take their students to an assigned dismissal door after their class is complete. The list of dismissal doors will be emailed to parents prior to the start of the session. CASA students will be taken to the cafeteria after their ASEP class. There is no transportation provided after ASEP. Students MUST be picked up promptly at 3:30PM. There is a 10-minute grace period. Failure to pick your child(ren) up by 3:40 will result in a $10 late fee. The late fee must be paid in full prior to your child(ren)'s next class. Parents/Guardians MUST come up to the school to pick up their child(ren) and show an ID the first two weeks or until the teacher recognizes the parent/guardian. Please email the ASEP instructor if you need to make a change to the authorized adults you listed during the registration process.
Refunds: Refunds will be accepted up to 7 days prior to the class and will only be given if there is a student on the waitlist who can attend the class. Non-refundable registration fees will be deducted from your refund.
